The App. Allergine is intended to provide users a tool for monitoring air quality in the city of Rome (now, but we planned to use data from other cities). This App is aimed mainly at people suffering from respiratory allergies and it is particularly useful for users interested in the problem of pollution in the city where they live or are on holiday. Allergine shows a map of monitoring stations’ locations, both for pollution and pollen, using markers that will have a different color depending on the properties surveyed and the level of risk, in order to give an immediate view of the state of the air surrounding the user. Allergine allows the user to set the allergens or items he wants to keep under control since the first launch of the application. In this way, users will have the opportunity to know in real time if the site where they are located, or where they will go, will be exposed to agents that cause allergies or other types of inflammation. The application contains several complementary features such as the location of pharmacies and of allergology centers in the neighborhoods as well as weather forecasts.
