Through fonYou’s iPhone application you get a second mobile number for free on your existing mobile phone, without the need for an additional SIM card and without having to change your mobile operator. Your existing mobile number continues to work as before. In addition, through your fonYou number you have access to a wide range of over-the-top services that no other mobile operator offers.

When somebody calls your fonYou number, you will receive the call on your iPhone, in the same way as you would receive a call to your existing mobile number. To make calls or send SMS from the fonYou number, you simply use the fonYou application and then the other person will automatically see the fonYou number as originating number, not your primary number. Calls and SMS through fonYou have the same quality as with your current mobile operator, i.e. they are not VoIP calls (as for example with Skype).

fonYou's application, on the one hand, provides a user experience that makes using this second line on the iPhone as natural as using the first, native line. On the other hand, the application offers a large variety of additional, cloud-based functionalities that aren’t available anywhere else, such as a complete call register integrated with an online address book or advanced call control options for redirecting, blocking and filtering calls.

The "fonYou" application is linked to fonYou's mobile telephony service in Spain and therefore only works in that country (you need to have a Spanish mobile number from another operator for it to work). FEATURES AND COSTS

(a) CALLS & SMS: You can make and receive calls and SMS with your fonYou number through your existing phone. fonYou does not charge anything for this traffic, you simply pay your existing mobile operator for the calls you make and the SMS you send according to your current tariff plan

(b) CALL FILTER: Allows you to permanently block unwanted calls and SMS by putting people on a black list

(c) CALL REDIRECTING: Redirect calls to your fonYou number to any other Spanish phone number (at no cost) if, for example, your iPhone is about to run out battery or has no coverage

(d) VOICEMAIL PERSONALIZATION: Record a different greeting for each one of your contacts in your online address book (up to 3000 entries)

(e) CHEAP INTERNATIONAL CALLS: Make cheap international calls from your fonYou number. You only pay for a national call from your main line to your own fonYou number and then fonYou redirects your call for free to the international destination (with the same call quality as with any other telecom operator; again, this is not VoIP!).

(f) ONLINE USER SPACE on www.fonyou.es: Apart from the fonYou application, you can access your account with all your call records and personal call control functions through a normal web browser by visiting www.fonyou.es. All of your user data (calls, SMS, voicemails) as well as your contacts are always safely stored on fonYou’s servers and are accessible to you anywhere and any time, be it through the fonYou app or your Online User Space, which are syncronized between each other in real-time. This is what makes fonYou a true Cloud Telephony Service.

(f) REAL-TIME CALL REGISTER: A complete register for all your calls, SMS (with text) and voicemails that is updated in real-time and works like an email account.
