SafeSigner is an application developed for smartphones aiming to improve both security and privacy for transactions over Internet.
SafeSigner improves security and privacy of bank transactions such as: bank transfers, e-commerce, stock market transactions, etc. by using smartphones as a second communication channel by using QR codes to confirm transactions.
QR codes will be encrypted and signed by the bank; and, when they are scanned by a smartphone, SafeSigner will show the transaction information to the user, along with a validation code. Such code will be used at the bank's site to confirm that no third-party modified the transaction data.

Como una “interesante innovación criolla” fue presentado SafeSigner. La última aplicación desarrollada por Orand, que permite a los usuarios hacer transacciones bancarias seguras por internet.
Frente a los diversos tipos de fraudes online que afectan especialmente a la banca, el equipo de investigación y desarrollo de Orand creó Safesigner: una aplicación para smarthpones, que permite a las organizaciones y personas proteger las transacciones que realizan a través de internet, mejorando su seguridad y privacidad.
La innovación fue presentada en el programa de ciencia y tecnología “Avances 24”, donde aparece catalogada como unnuevo software de seguridad que trabaja a la par con los smartphones.
