Milo was created by a licensed Speech Therapist because she saw the magic of the iPad in therapy, and needed the right app to engage her clients. "Speech with Milo: Verbs" offers a versatile and entertaining speech therapy tool for children. The SLP that created the app, wanted something not just for therapists, but for parents to use at home. To do so, she included parent and therapist instructions in the tool and made it affordable. It is centered on an energetic mouse named Milo, who performs over 100 actions. Instructions for therapists and parents are included in the app to get the most out of it. “Speech with Milo” provides an engaging way to build up an action word vocabulary in the child.
