Welcome to newsletter #24 of AppCircus, the global traveling showcase of the most innovative and creative apps. This edition is stuffed with info about new events in Africa, a tour in Mexico and the latest confirmed events in Eastern Europe. Apps Pitching in Bogotá.

Tonight the AppCircus is being held at the Headquarters of Telefonica in Bogotá in Colombia. Check the apps selected by the expert jury to pitch at this event. Ánimo desarrolladores, que gane el mejor!

This event is supported by the Adobe User Group Colombia, Fundación Telefónica and Bluevia.

AppCircus in Africa.

If you hadn’t noticed yet, the app economy is rapidly gaining momentum on the African continent. AppCircus is pleased to setup its tents the coming weeks in three major cities including Cape Town, Nairobi and Accra.Participating to one of these events is a fantastic opportunity for local developers to present their app to the local mobile & tech scene and get international visibility through AppCircus media and partners.

AppCircus Tour in Mexico.

Since the very successful event the AC team organised in Villahermosa in Mexico earlier this year, the AppCircus got tremendous interest from the key players in the local mobile ecosystem. This resulted in setting up an extensive tour in Mexico in September with the support of Telcel.

This special event within the Congreso Universitario Móvil is a unique chance to showcase your Nokia app. If you’re a developer with a Nokia app, you can submit it to do a 3-minute pitch at the Nokia Developer Day on Tuesday, September 6th, 2011 between 17.30 – 18.30.
