Meet the professionals that will be part of the jury on stage:
Leading the multidisciplinary Networking and Strategies Research Group (NeTS), gathering over 15 researchers from 8 countries, he is currently an Associated Professor at UPF, and engaged with the government of the University as vice rector for Quality and Institutional Strategy.
Prof. Oliver received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degree from Universitat Politènica de Catalunya, in 1994 and 1999, respectively and made a postdoctoral stage in the Wireless Information Networks Laboratory at Rutgers University (USA). He also got in 2009 a three-year degree in Business Administration from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and was involved in GloColl executive Education at Harvard Business School in 2011. Between 2004 and 2005 he was also director of the Telecommunication School at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra where he moved in 2001.
Nicolau Mesquita is the Executive Business Developer Manager in Nokia Iberia since January 2010, he develops strategic agreements for the Iberian market, defines and implements Nokia’s trade and marketing policies for Spain and Portugal. Since 2006, Nicolau had been a Senior Marketing Manager and Senior Business Manager in Nokia, leading successful campaigns.
Dionís Guzmán has more than ten years of experience in all aspects of marketing communications including: social media and lead generation activities, branding, writing marketing and press materials and managing international conferences and exhibitions. He is the Founder and and Managing Director of wöwbile!, a newly created mobile marketing agency based in Barcelona and the Manager at Mobile Marketing Association Catalunya.
Andrés Leonardo Martínez has a master degree in Computer Science by the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Currently he is a BlueVia Developer Program Engineer in Telefonica Digital UK.
Jordi López has a postgraduate in Statistics at UAB, a graduate in Marketing and Sales at Euncet and a Master in Scientific Communication by UPF. He has worked as a Product manager for ASUS Iberica and as Corporate communications and business process reengineering consultant at Grupo Quarck. He is currently a project and communications manager of the research group Sushitos at UPC, as well as editor and participant in mossegalapoma.cat tech blog and podcast.
