Appcircus went back in London for a vibrant competition at the beginning of the winter season. On 11 December we gathered 7 of the most emerging innovative apps to pitch in front of a jury of experts and an interested audience.
GuidePal is the android app winner, with his developer Mattias Borg from Stockholm, Sweden. GuidePal app is a travel and city discovery companion with the world’s best handpicked for the user. It works like a pocket concierge. Users can book a hotel and in-destination services and activities, such as tours, concerts, restaurants, nightclubs, and so on. They can also get the best tips by locals and friends that they trust.
The winner receives a nomination to the Mobile Premier Awards 2015, the largest cross-platform app showcase in the mobile industry, and a point of reference for the startup and app community during the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, Spain.
Special thanks to a Special guest from Google, Rupert Whitehead, who delivered a remarkable keynote about “Addressing Apps Discoverability”.
Finally, we’d like to thank all participants, the lively audience and the big contributors to the live tweeting! Here are some pictures from the event:
