AppCircus Madrid será el escaparate de las apps más punteras el próximo 8 de noviembre

AppCircus Madrid será el próximo 8 de noviembre, a partir de las 10.30 horas, en la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, el escaparate de las aplicaciones móviles más punteras, en un momento de gran efervescencia del sector en España, donde cada día se descargan dos millones de apps. Toda esta vitalidad en la utilización de aplicaciones móviles se traduce también en el empuje del sector desde el punto de vista económico, con una previsión de negocio para 2012 en España superior a los cien millones de euros.
Para ayudar a la generación de conocimiento sobre la creación de aplicaciones, AppCircus Madrid acogerá un programa de workshops gratuitos, en los que expertos de primera línea de firmas como Nokia, BlueVia, Samsung e Inesdi abordarán las claves que hacen que una aplicación móvil tenga éxito desde el punto de vista de negocio. Cabe destacar que los asistentes al workshop de BlueVia podrán disfrutar de un mes de suscripción gratis a Instant Servers, los nuevos servidores cloud de Teléfonica y Acens.
Premios
La app ganadora de AppCircus Madrid podrá ser una de las 20 aplicaciones participantes en los Mobile Premier Awards, considerados los premios de referencia en el universo de las apps, que tendrán lugar en Barcelona en febrero de 2013. Además, el ganador de AppCircus recibirá un curso gratuito de Mobile Marketing de parte del Instituto Inesdi para perfilar el modelo de negocio de su app, con el fin de lograr que sea exitosa.
Inscríbete antes del 24 de octubre
AppCircus Madrid está abierto a cualquier desarrollador, estudiante, startup o empresa con un prototipo funcional que quiera mostrar en 3 minutos sobre el escenario. Para participar, únicamente es necesario registrar online la app en la página web de AppCircus, antes del 24 de octubre. De todas las aplicaciones móviles inscritas, se seleccionarán diez finalistas que podrán presentar su app delante de un jurado profesional del sector mobile.

AppCircus, una de las actividades especiales de Colombia 3.0

Bogotá acogerá el próximo 25 de octubre una edición de AppCircus, dentro de las actividades especiales del programa de Colombia 3.0, una iniciativa sin ánimo de lucro del Ministerio de Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones dirigida a profesionales y emprendedores gestores y productores de contenidos digitales en Colombia. Se trata de un evento que congregará a los principales actores del ecosistema móvil en el país y una ocasión única para darse a conocer.

La inscripción a AppCircus es gratuita y sólo es necesario registrarse en AppCircus en este enlace y después registrar online la aplicación haciendo clic en “submit your app” en esta página web. El límite para apuntarse al showcase es el día 5 de octubre, a las 17 horas (hora local).

Puede participar en AppCircus Bogotá@Colombia 3.0 cualquier desarrollador, estudiante, startup o empresa con un prototipo funcional. Los autores de las 10 apps seleccionadas podrán mostrar su aplicación en 3 minutos sobre el escenario, ante un jurado integrado por expertos de la industria móvil. La app ganadora podrá ser una de las 20 aplicaciones participantes en los Mobile Premier Awards, considerados los premios de referencia de las aplicaciones móviles a nivel internacional, que tendrán lugar  en Barcelona en febrero de 2013.

Colombia 3.0 reunirá a cientos de participantes durante tres días alrededor de los contenidos digitales, con el fin de impulsar la industria del sector, crear redes, participar en conferencias, talleres e intercambiar experiencias relacionadas con las industrias de: vídeo juegos, desarrollo de aplicaciones móviles, desarrollo de software y animación 3D. AppCircus Dev Day wrap up: the winner is… Dogfight!

Dogfight, a game that has achieved 1,5 million players in 3 months, won the AppCircus Developer Day contest in Barcelona. In the runner-up position, the jury chose DressApp, a pocket closet app that offers users the option to view and manage their clothes throught their mobile anywhere & anytime. DressApp is a new marketing way for shops in Barcelona that allows them to increase sales through an iPhone & Android application.

After receiving the prize, the creator of Dogfight, a Spanish engineer that started programming at age 8, said that the best acknowledgement for his work comes from the players. He uses their feedback to improve the game. Dogfight has a very powerful social side as players can communicate throught a chat and a forum. Dogfight could be nominated to participate in the Mobile Premier Awards to take place next February in Barcelona.

The 11 contending apps at AppCircus Developer Day were all incredibly interesting and the jury had a hard time deciding on a winner.

AppCircus Developer Day took place last 21st of June in UPF Campus de la Comunicació in Barcelona. For the first time in Spain an app developer event included 1-on-1 Speed mentoring sessions with industry experts who provided valuable feedback to developers with an app. The event also included workshops on OpenData and developing on several platforms, as well as spaces for networking.

AppCircus Developer day selected apps

We're excited to announce the apps to pitch at the Appcircus Developer Day event to take place next June 21 at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Campus de la Comunicació-Poblenou (Roc Boronat, 138) (google map). AppCircus Developer Day is a free event that includes workshops and 1-on-1 speed mentoring sessions with experts for developers to discover new opportunities for creating revenue-generating mobile apps and succeed in the app economy.

The selected developers will do a 3-minute pitch of their app in front of an expert jury. The winner will get a chance to win a nomination to the Mobile Premier Awards, during the 2013 Mobile World Congress.

The AppCircus Developer Day event starts at 17h and the winner will be announced at 18.30h.

Dogfight is a WWI based multiplayer airplane game that is full of action. Fly through training levels all the way up to full-blown dogfights against enemy planes. Playing alone is fun but the real fun is going multiplayer against your friends

beAdSense is a powerful and beautiful Google AdSense ™ (readonly) client. Its key features are: universal application, Google 2-step verification login support, multiple AdSense accounts support, quick earnings information of: Today, Month total and Month average, quick next/prev report gestures (swipe right or left to change them quickly), month summary, month summary chart (+ landscape mode chart), among others.

QuitNow! is an app designed to help people quit smoking. It also has an advanced 'chat' where users can talk about their feelings while quitting smoking.
