It is getting close to the event for APPCircus Paris and in order to make the selection process of the mobile Applications to be presented in [email protected], these are the judges can will be jury. In no particular order they are:
Gudefin Mat thieu Founder/CEO Mobiladdict founded MobilADdict in 2009. MobilADdict is a french mobile premium Ad network. Matthieu used to work as Chief Marketing Officer in Newsweb (Lagardère Group) and as Product Manager in Bouygues Telecom.
Raphael Chenol, in charge of Mobile Innovation, Pages Jaunes (Yellow Pages) spent 5 years at CanalSat/Canal+, managing Interactive Services on Digital TV (enhanced TV). I moved on mobile activities at Canal+ Active in 2005 where I was in charge of content for Wap portals and rich media applications (VOD and streaming TV). In September 2007, I moved to PagesJaunes Group (Yellow Pages) to be in charge of Mobile and Navigation activities. I have managed a dozen of mobile wap sites and a Java application. I have launched a the first Webapp for the iPhone in June 2008, followed by versions for other smartphones’ OS. End of 2008 I have launched the first PagesJaunes’s iPhone app on the Appstore. This application is so far the most successfull french app with nearly 3 millions downloads ! Since September 2009 I’m in charge of Mobile Innovation. I try to anticipate the mobile market, to extract the best pratices and trends, and apply them to our products line.
Laurent Gatignol, iLGMedia a french professional in the Internet domain with past experience at Microsoft, Kelkoo and Yahoo!. He launched several mobility focused websites (Palm, Windows Mobile, iOS) and is now doing consultancy while heading iLGMedia, the company which edit http://www.iPhon.Fr and http://www.vipad.fr the leading websites on the iPhone and iPad domains. He also wrote the book “Zoom sur l’iPad” edited by Pearson Education.
Bruno Smadja, CEO MobilEvent has created The Mobile Film Festival in 2005, 1st short film festival shot on mobile phones, and the CROSS VIDEO DAYS, 1st european market on new video formats; MobilEvent is also a digital agency.
Bertrand JONQUOIS, CEO and Co-founder of Nemo Agency a mobile marketing agency created in 2003. Graduate at Paris Pantheon-Sorbonne university, Bertrand worked in large media group such as Europe 1, JCDecaux or France Télévision. He joined Wanadoo in 2000 as sales director before launching Overture inc. subsidiary in France and became Executive Director at Yahoo! in 2004. He is board member of Mobile Marketing Association France.
Yann Lechelle, co-fondateur Appsfire / KickYourApp.com is a serial entrepreneur and Cocoa coder, co-founder of KickYourApp.com and more recently Appsfire.com, a social and promotional app discovery platform. Yann graduated in Computer Science summa cum laude from the American American University of Paris and obtained an MBA from INSEAD where he regularly returns to share his tales of entrepreneurship.
Julien Valero, Silicon Sentier Communications and Partnerships Manager at Silicon Sentier, an association of innovative companies that together illustrate Paris’ unique digital identity. Graduated from a specific program dedicated to innovation and technologies at Reims Management School and former Product Manager assistant at Apple France, he joins Silicon Sentier in 2007 to coordinate the Quartier Numérique project – a living lab in Paris 2nd District. He is also involved in “La cantine by Silicon Sentier”, the fisrt space in Paris dedicated to the exchanges for digital communities and coordinates Mobile Monday Paris.
Denis Pansu, Fing. Member of FING’s executive board (Next Generation Internet foundation is a collective and open Research and Development project which focuses on tomorrow’s Internet’s uses, applications and services – www.fing.org). He manages french meetings called “Crossroads of the Possible” in various cities about innovative projects. Since 1997, He use to work on human networking using groupware solutions. He analyse, coach and choose french internet solutions among different project calls in business and non-profit areas (Mobile Monday Paris, World Summit Award, Capital-IT, Fondation de France, Grand Prix de l’Innovation de la Ville de Paris, …).
