AppCircus in APPNation Conference winner – Tagwhat.

This year’s APPNation Conference has been a great experience for the App Artists that participated, we had apps coming in from Canada to participate in our San Francisco event.

We hope that everyone enjoyed the show and that you found our about amazing apps being developed in the Bay Area and abroad.

[email protected] winner.

It was a close match up between the artists on stage, but we one winner needs to be selected and the jury made the final decision for:

TagWhat – A guide where you can visually explore your location through multimedia content.

We would also like to point out our runner up that came from British Columbia and it’s beautiful city of Vancouver that is showing potential as a mobile capital from Canada….Tingle which is a location based dating app, with a voice feature on it. They put an impressive presentation to earn a second shot at presenting in another AppCircus.

Everyone one of the presenting apps put in a great effort to come to the show and worked their presentation skills to the maximum on the 3 minutes on stage. We would like to thank them all for putting in the extra mile to be part of AppCircus.

Our supporters: APPNation Jury.

This event could not have happened with out our partner event APPNation Conference. We wish them all the best in this coming year that will be full of mobile innovation from around the globe.

Our jury panel was on hand to review and give feedback on the apps on stage. So we would like to thank each one:

Our great moderator Delyn Simmons from Mashery who we had the pleasure to work at their Circus Mashimus was our ring leader for that evening and she put on the hat and gloves to kickstart our event.

2012 will be a year looking forward to, we are inaugurating a great new show called AppCircus Academy that will debut in Madrid for our Spanish speaking community; but we are eager to bring this event to the USA for the first time.

So sign up as an AppCircus member and be ready for a great mobile showcase next year.

Geoloqi wins the mobile showcase at AppNation – San Francisco

The past weeks have been a really exciting time for us and our partners, we would like to thank everyone that showed up for AppCircus in San Francisco, we saw some great pitch’s from mobile developers at the AppNation Conference coming from not only the Valley but from Europe as well. The App Artists have done a great job at creating the next generation of mobile experiences, we are glad to give the stage to up and coming mobile apps that will surely give us more surprises in the future.

As always App artists did not disappoint, we saw some pretty interesting presentations being thrown on stage. But we also made a promise to bring more spark at the next event in the Bay area and it would not have been possible with out the moderation from Di-Ann Eisnor from Waze and the organizers in AppNation Conference, at the end of the first day the jury had a tough call to make.

After a few minutes the judges decided on:

Geoloqi is the winner at AppCircus at AppNation San Francisco.

The mobile showcase would not have been a show with out all the apps on stage of AppCircus in San Francisco so they should get a mention for being  making the effort to be at the event. So in no particular order these are the rest of the mobile applications:

Thanks to all the apps for being at our inaugural event in Silicon Valley for 2011! So please visit our  list of confirmed events from around the globe.

We also would like to thank our Sponsors for supporting this event and more to come from AppCircus. We saw a platform presentation by Zeewe.
