We are ready to announce the selected apps that will have the pleasure of pitching at AppCircus Vienna.

Meet our special  jury!

Mag. Verena Krawarik is Head of Innovationmanagement for the APA – Austria Press Agency. She started her career at the national news agency in 2000 in the editorial multimedia department, where she became leading editor of APA-ZukunftWissen, a communication platform  focused on research and education topics. Since 2009 she is responsible for the management of the innovation process within the group.

Alexander Lamatsch, Services Sales Manager at Nokia Austria GmbH is responsible for sales, marketing and communication towards Austrian Operators, Developers and Brands for all Nokia Internet Services including Navigation, Music, Messaging and the Nokia Store. He joined Nokia in 1999 and has held several positions in IT Project Management, Business Development, Product Marketing and Sales. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and badminton.

DI (FH) Georg Koch is Director Product Management Online / Mobile of HEROLD Business Data, where he is responsible for online-products, mobile applications and product-development. His focus is on, one of Austria´s most frequently used websites with 32,5% reach (ÖWA plus 2011-II) per month. He is an expert in search and SEO. Before being appointed to HEROLD´s Director Product Management he also oversaw SEO-projects of European Directories SA.Georg Koch holds a degree of FH Wiener Neustadt in Information-Technology with focus on Industrial Engineering.

Jury on Stage AppCircus Tallinn

Meet the professionals that will chair the jury at AppCircus Tallinn!

Gerri Kodres: He’s the VP of Sales and Marketing, Fortumo. With his 10+ years of background in working with mobile operators in regions as diverse as Europe, Middle East, Asia and Latin America, Gerri is an experienced manager and business developer. In Fortumo, he is responsible managing sales to strategic customers as well as handling carrier relations.Fortumo is one of the fastest growing mobile startups in Estonia offering mobile payment services in more than 50 countries.

Pirko Konsa: Is the member of board pf Tehnopol – a science and business environment for knowledge based companies. Today there are 150 companies, Tallinn University of Technology and IT College in Tehnopol. Tehnopol provides a unique set of value adding business development services, convenient infrastructure and international cooperation opportunities for companies. Tehnopol operates also largest technology incubator in Estonia. Pirko is also the board member of ITL – the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications.

Henrik Roonemaa: He’s Estonia’s leading tech journalist. He’s the editor of Estonia’s largest consumer tech magazine Digi and hosts a popular weekly tech news radio show Digitund. He regularly appears on TV and is a sought-after speaker for conferences and seminars. He reviews new gadgets and software every day and always values consumer interest above everything else.

Tõnis Pechter: is Development Services Project Manager in Technopolis Ülemiste. Tõnis is responsible for launching Technopolis Development Services such as Fund Raising Services, Money Talks events and Business Breakfast series in Estonia. Tõnis has previously worked in Tartu Science Park as a consultant for startup companies in early phase of development and consulted ideas of Estonian biggest business idea competition “Ajujaht”.

AppCircus Academy es un evento de media jornada dirigido a la comunidad de desarrolladores y a los profesionales de la industria móvil para promover que éstos se conozcan, exploren nuevas ideas y descubran soluciones originales.

Selected Apps To Pitch At AppCircus London!

As you may know, the AppCircus London event is coming up next Wednesday, November 16th.

The following 10 developers have been selected amongst the dozens of apps submitted willing to pitch at the event in TechHub.

So congratulations to the lucky contestants that will have the opportunity of showcasing their app in front of a professional jury and a great audience!

On December 13, Madrid will host the first AppCircus Academy, a half day event where developers can learn to better navigate the app ecosystem. If you want to improve the technical build, dissemination strategy and business viability of your apps sign up today and enjoy the conferences, panels, workshops and AppCircus, the international app competition.
