Mobile Premier Awards 2011 – the winning apps.

There are no word to describe the excitement that filled the atmosphere today, with more than 20 mobile applications presenting and a great keynote speech from the Mighty Eagle of Angry Birds, the Mobile Premier Awards has come to an end. But this is just the beginning for the mobile apps that won the awards.

More than 15 different countries where represented in the event, making it a very unique place to be around such a broad international talent and influencers. But the developers and entrepreneurs from the companies presenting really got some great feedback from industry experts in the mobile space.

Who are the winners of the Mobile Premier Awards 2011?

There where 20 participating apps that really impressed the judges and the crowd with the innovation and practical use behind the mobile applications they where presenting at the Telefonica R&D Building in Diagonal 00. We are very pleased to announce the winners:

In March we are launching the AppCircus All-Stars at SXSW, that is 2 days of pitching for winning apps and Mobile Premier Award winners. So after some feedback from our jury, they will get an opportunity to interact with their peers at SXSW Interactive.

So we are looking forward to seeing their traction after the awards and getting them listed in our case study posts.

AppCircus Winners 2010!

This year’s AppCircus launch has been a blast! After some world travel and meeting with great developers, entrepreneurs and companies in the mobile space  we are closing this 2010’s edition with some great plans for next year. A very special thanks goes out to all the AppCircus organizers from around the world, this would not be possible without you!

Below you find all apps that received a nomination to the Mobile Premier Awards taking place in Barcelona on February 14th 2011 during the Mobile World Congress. The nominated apps (including AppCircus winners and AppCircus Category applicants) will be judged by an international jury (2011 edition TBC) in the week from January 17-22, the finalists to present at the event will be announced on January 24, 2011.

If you did not have an opportunity to present your app at one of the AppCircus events now is your 2nd chance: submit your app to the AppCircus Categories and maybe you will be chosen to pitch at the Mobile Premier Awards. The deadline to submit your app is January 15th 2011.
