AppCircus on Health with MEDICA
This year MEDICA opens a global call to app developers to compete for a rare chance to present their app live on stage at Medica Health IT Forum during the AppCircus @ MEDICA 2012 in Düsseldorf.
In 4 monthly Online Competitions developers can compete for 8 presentation slots to pitch their app live on stage on the 16th of November at MEDICA. The deadline to submit your app the last month's competition is October 26th 2012, don't forget that public voting will continue until October 31st!

Who can participate?
• Participation to the online competition is free!
• Applications must serve a healthcare related need in the broadest sense: from Health to Wellness
• Applications may cater to any target including children, adults, as well as any professional (healthcare, technology, patients, institutions, etc.).
• Both simple applications and applications linked to external peripherals will be accepted

If your app is among the TWO top apps of this competition, you will:
• Present your app live in front of international experts and influencers of the healthcare industry
• Get feedback from the on-stage jury of experts
• If you win the AppCircus at Medica on-stage competition, you'll get a nomination to the MobilePermierAwards 2013 during Mobile World Congress!

Qualifying apps:
• Applications must serve a healthcare related need in the broadest sense: from Health to Wellness
• Apps may cater to any target including children, adults, as well as any professional (healthcare, technology, patients, institutions, etc.).
• Stand-alone apps as well as those linked to external peripherals and other devices
Submission process:
• Registering and submitting your app in AppCircus is open to any developer, health professional or business startup.
• Registration and membership in AppCircus are free
• Members of AppCircus must add the app to their profile before participating to AppCircus.
• Participants can register more than one app.
• This monthly competition will run for four months and each month will select two winners (8 winners in total)
• Apps that didn't make it in one month can re-submit the next month
• Deadline for app submissions is 26.10.2012
Prizes:
• The two winners will get up to 2 tickets for MEDICA 2012
• A representative of the winning app must present the application on stage in english
• The representative will have 3 minutes to present the app on stage
• The winner of AppCircus at MEDICA 2012 will win a nomination for the Mobile Premier Awards 2013
• Travel and accomodation is not covered in any prize. Participation implies accepting to travel to the events at your own cost.
