About Apps Marathon
Grassroots organizations Mobile Monday and Café Numérique joined forces and are proud to present the Apps Marathon on September 27th from 20h till 24h (GMT+1) at Brussels. This event will put a glocal spotlight on developers, platforms and companies who innovate, stimulate and support the world of mobile application development.
The marathon will highlight the coolest, most innovative and useful mobile applications developed in all kinds of industries through live presentations and video sessions. We are confident it will be remembered as an unprecedented gathering of mobile apps developers and those who want to interact with these talented people!
Here are the rules for participation
- Submissions and presentations to the AppCircus are FREE and open to any developer
- Applicants must send one representative person to present the app live on stage
- Apps are submitted through the appcircus.com platform
- Registration and membership on appcirc.us are FREE!
- appcircus.com members need to add the app to their profile before applying to an AppCircus
- Each App can only present in one AppCircus, except if it receives a Runnerup Waiver
- One app in each AppCircus will be nomnated for the Mobile Premier Awards 2011 by audience vote
- The app with most votes after the nomination winner, will receive a “Runnerup Waiver”, which allows it to apply again to be selected at another AppCircus
