AppCircus lands in Oslo partnering with AppWorks 03 on November 17th.
AppWorks is a Nordic mobile app conference that will bring together some of the foremost mobile app developers from the global arena to share and connect all that is important in this field. It is is the premier Nordic app conference, and this year a part of Mobile 2011, the largest mobile gathering in Norway. The day starts with two conferences, Appworks and Mobile Retail, with a total of four parallel conference tracks.
After the conferences AppCircus will take place, and the night will round off with the premier mobile award show in the region, Gulltasten and the after-party by LG.
The venue will be Mathallen & Fabrikken, Vulkan, 0175 Oslo, Norway.

10 mobile applications will be chosen to be on stage and pitch to a Jury. The winner will have a slot to be nominated for the 2012 Mobile Premier Awards in Barcelona, held during the Mobile World Congress.

Deadline: Participating apps have until the 2nd of November to submit your application.


16.15pm: Welcome and introductions

16.30pm: First Act - Leading Platforms present

16.45pm: 2nd Act - 10 Apps present with jury feedback

17.45pm: Thanks and jury selection for Runnerup plus the winner.

17.55pm: Networking and Winner announcement.

Rules for Participation:

  • Submissions and presentations to AppCircus are FREE and open to any developer, startup or company.

  • Applicants must send one representative to present the app live on stage.

  • The apps selected will have  three minutes to pitch on stage.

  • Apps are submitted through the AppCircus platform at

  • Registration and membership for AppCircus are FREE!

  • members need to add the app to their profile before applying for an AppCircus.

  • Candidates can submit more than one app.

  • Each app can only be presented in one AppCircus, unless if it receives a Runner up Waiver.

  • One app in each AppCircus will be nominated for the pool of apps from which the 20 finalists for the Mobile Premier Awards 2012 will be selected.
